- Mother’s Day Tradition at 1789 Restaurant -- 1789 Restaurant will be offering a special Sunday brunch, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., plus a seasonal a la carte dinner menu, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Mother’s Day. Brunch prices ranging from $24 to $38 with the first and second course included in the entr_e price.  Dinner entrees range from $18 to $38.  (1226 36th Street, NW; 202.965.1789)

- Guests of 701 this Mother’s Day can enjoy a special menu prepared by new Executive Chef Bobby Varua, while enjoying a spring view of the Navy Memorial fountain. 701 will be offering a three-course pre-fixe Mother’s Day Brunch menu from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $45 per person (children’s portions are available for half price). In addition, 701 will be offering their dinner menu following brunch from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.  (701 Pennsylvania Ave, NW; 202.393.0701)

- Mother’s Day Brunch & Dinner at Either Chef Geoff’s -- Celebrate the woman who made it happen. Full a la carte brunch and dinner menu plus eight specials (made just for mom!) will be served from 10:30am-3:00pm. - Charlie Palmer Steak will be honoring Washington D.C.’s moms this Mother’s Day with a special brunch menu and select dinner dishes especially created with Mom in mind. Executive Chef Matt Hill has created a three-course pre-fixe brunch that will be served from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 11th.  That evening, Charlie Palmer Steak will also be open for dinner beginning at 5:00 p.m. and will be serving their regular dinner menu with seasonal specials for Mother’s Day. - Dino will hold its 3rd annual Mother’s day Brunch Sunday May 11 from 11:30am until 3:00pm. There will be an ala carte brunch offered as well as the regular menu of Dino favorites. Dino will offer its regular menu from 11:30 until 8:00 pm. featuring rustic Italian comfort food with a modern twist. (3435 Connecticut Avenue; 202.686.2966)

- IndeBleu executive chef Michael Hartzer has created a special three-course Mother’s Day Brunch sure to delight the whole family. Brunch will be available from 11am to 3 pm on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 11) at IndeBleu - 707 G Street.  This year’s brunch will be $45 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations: 202-333-BLEU

- Each weekend, Hank’s Oyster Bar draws crowds of brunch goers and this Mother’s Day, families will find the New England Beach fare is the perfect treat. At both Hank’s Oyster Bar locations in Dupont Circle and in Old Town Alexandria, Chef and Owner Jamie Leeds will be offering the full a la carte brunch menu, in addition to two light seasonal dishes that are sure to please Mom. Meals are $23 per person. Hank’s Oyster Bar, located at 1624 Q Street, NW (202.462.4265), will be offering brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at 1026 King Street in Alexandria, Virginia (703-739-4265), Hank’s will be serving brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

- Mother’s Day Fun at Mandarin Oriental, DC -- To recognize this special day, Mandarin Oriental presents the exclusive “Mother’s Day Indulgence” spa package and “Mother Daughter Escape” overnight accommodation package, available May 1 through 31, 2008. Treat mom to a four-hour journey of pampering with the “Mother’s Day Indulgence” spa experience created to relax and rejuvenate, starting at $480. The delightful “Mother Daughter Escape” package features deluxe overnight accommodations, signature Mandarin Oriental manicures and pedicures, decadent “Afternoon Savories & Sweets” offering in Empress Lounge, in-room bowl of the season’s freshest and ripest fruits and valet parking. - Penn Quarter’s innovative Indian hot spot, Rasika is also crafting a memorable dining experience for Mother’s Day with a special three-course prix frixe brunch menu prepared by Executive Chef Vikram Sunderam. From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Rasika will be offering their Mother’s Day Brunch for $35 per person (tax, tip and gratuity not included) and from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., the a la carte dinner menu will be available. - Mother’s Day, All Day at Restaurant K by Alison Swope - Mother’s Day plans are in good hands with Executive Chef Alison Swope serving up delicious South by Southwest dishes from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on May 11th. Restaurant K by Alison Swope is offering an a la carte Mother’s Day Brunch menu, with dishes priced from $9.50 to $19.90. (1700 K Street NW; 202.974.6545)

- The Roof Terrace Restaurant at the Kennedy Center is celebrating mom with a special Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 11th. Surrounded by her family, mom can relax and enjoy the spectacular panoramic skyline views of Washington, DC, while delighting in dishes from the critically-acclaimed Sunday Kitchen Buffet Brunch. The Mother’s Day Brunch is priced at $39.95 for adults and $20.00 for children (ages 12 & under). Reservations are required and can be made from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (2700 F Street, NW; 202.416.8555)

- Raise your glasses and toast the most important woman in your life at a delectable meal she won’t forget! The Willard InterContinental is celebrating Mother’s Day on May 11 with two distinctive offerings. Start off the day in the Willard’s fine dining establishment, The Willard Room with a sumptuous Mother’s Day Sunday Brunch buffet, priced at $95 for adults and $45 for children, ages 5 through 12. Seatings are available from 11:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. Or, take mom for the Mother’s Day brunch in the grand ballroom, a dining experience designed to delight the entire family, with the Willard’s special touches. Priced at $85 for adults and $40 for children, ages 5 through 12. Mothers will also receive a special gift from the I Spa at the Willard.
