Christmas Lights Aglow from Capitol to Georgetown Waterfront (photos)

Georgetown is especially illuminated for the yuletide this year, thanks to the third annual Georgetown Glow, presented by the Georgetown Business Improvement District. The region’s only curated exhibition of outdoor public light art installations, the show runs nightly from 6 to 10 p.m. through Jan. 1.

While walking around Washington, D.C.’s, oldest neighborhood is alway a visual treat, especially during Christmas (check out the houses, too), also take the time to view the National Christmas Tree at the Ellipse in President’s Park and the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree on the west lawn of the Capitol.

Feel free to send your best shots of Washington that you’ve taken in December. We will be happy to consider adding them to the collection shown here. Email jpegs to editorial@georgetowner.com.
