Stephanopoulos Settles for Less on Home

According to the Washington Examiner, "Good Morning America" host George Stephanopoulos has finally sold his home in Georgetown. The problem? He ended up selling it for almost $1 million less than what he was asking for to Alan Adler of Chevy Chase Trust. The listed price was $6.3 million, and the house only sold for $5.45 million. In addition to that, Adler was able to negotiate $42,000 contribution at closing in order to repair the elevator and pay for some minor touch-ups. The host and his wife, actress Ali Wentworth, will move to New York City this summer.
